Ruffin Health, LLC publishes independent research concerning the financial performance, business models, management, medical technologies, and prospects of companies operating in the health care industry. The firm also provides consulting services involving health care businesses, medical technologies, commercial opportunities, corporate strategy, and due diligence, including engagements for private equity and venture capital organizations. Ruffin Health does not offer individualized securities recommendations, manage investment portfolios, or undertake discretionary trading on behalf of clients.
Ruffin Health seeks to distinguish documented facts, analytical interpretations, hypotheses, and forecasts. Research conclusions may be favorable or unfavorable to the companies examined. Publications will identify material sources, relevant assumptions, and methodological limitations. Financial comparisons will specify the periods examined and, where applicable, the treatment of dividends, corporate actions, dilution, acquisitions, and delistings.
Historical shareholder returns do not establish future investment performance. The Health Care Value Creation Framework includes research intended to identify characteristics associated with shareholder value creation and destruction. Any prospective forecasting methodology will be identified as experimental until its predictive performance has been independently tested and validated.
Ruffin Health recognizes that financial interests, consulting engagements, and other business relationships can create actual or perceived conflicts of interest. Material relationships relevant to a published analysis will be disclosed when applicable. The firm will maintain internal procedures concerning confidentiality, personal trading, conflicts of interest, and the separation of confidential consulting information from public research.
Information obtained through confidential consulting engagements will not be disclosed or used in public research without appropriate authorization. Ruffin Health will not knowingly publish material nonpublic information obtained in violation of a legal or contractual duty.
Material factual or computational errors identified in published research will be corrected. Substantive revisions will be dated and described so that readers can distinguish the original analysis from subsequent changes.
